Absolutely! And everywhere I know of has down-ballot contests & initiatives that need your attention. While you have that ballot, replace that whacked out GOP school board with some reasonable people. Shift your town council to a Dem majority. Vote down the anti-trans initiatives and vote up affordable housing measures.

yeah... it never was like that, it isn't now, and it won't be. forever
this isn't depressing, that's just life. the struggle is eternal
why anyone thinks it it is any other way- but many do
complacency

America, I'm sorry that it is so much worse that we've seen in a long time. The lies, the threats, the intimidation. The Q-anon, the alternate-facts, the doubling down when you call them out.

It’s called negative partisanship; political strategist Rachel Bitecofer detailed it earlier this year in her new book, “Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts.” The Rs have used it for DECADES.
