@linux_mclinuxface gonna lazy web here a second bear with me…Dragonfly is a Redis replacement and it does basically transparent clustering with replication and it all works swimmingly on Kube with zero downtime…can Valkey do this too? I see it has replication and HA and I'm wondering if it is the same idea

@dustinrue I'm not super familiar with how Dragonfly does 'transparent clustering' (which gives me pause... that could mean a lot of things) but in a general sense, yes. Valkey runs great in Kubernetes and has clustering/HA/replication.

@linux_mclinuxface I am trying to avoid words, dual primaries? Seems I can read/write to any replica
-
@dustinrue nope. It doesn’t have that (I might call it active/active or multi-[+ a word that we shouldn’t use]).
Can you point me where in their docs they support that? I poked around looking for it and couldn’t find it (they have a landing page for it - https://www.dragonflydb.io/faq/redis-replication-multi-master -, but it never says dragonfly has it)
