@evan @Gargron @julian @johnonolan I remember a lot of people taking photos of a group of us at the end of the devroom and I’ve only seen one or two of them posted… but no, you and I have no photographic proof of the teamwork - it was pretty busy. Good problem to have!

The pic of the other federated social web meetup from way back, that @[email protected] said seemed like the spiritual precursor to this year's FOSDEM, was so cool!

We had two other FSWS events; one in San Francisco and one in Berlin. It would be nice to find more @tantek.com might have some.
The events were always invite-only-but-you-can-knock, which gave an amazingly high level of value to the presentations and flexibility to the discussions.
At the first FSWS, Ilya Z presented the first OStatus features in Diaspora*. It was an incredible moment of generosity, and I think about it and him a lot.
