@hrefna one out of two here. Microcontroller(s), but no network, persistent storage, or update procedures. Unlike many toasters, it seems to have a setting between "raw" and "carbonized", so I'm okay with a bit of software.

@[email protected] it's funny how a subset of technical people find joy and appreciate completely analog technology.

I make rice most days. My rice cooker has one switch, and it turns on and cooks the rice until all the water is gone, at which the temperature rises and the switch is tripped.

Does one thing and does it well.
