I don’t understand how this happened, but at one point the left panel of Gnome Files changed and the Other Locations button disappeared from it, and other buttons moved to Bookmarks. Is this a bug or an update? Previous…

are in the sidebar, and you can type in/
for the root directory -
@steven Okay but being able to see all my mounted disks in one place, along with my network locations, is incredibly valuable to me. This is a direct downgrade in functionality. People would riot in the street if Microsoft removed "My Computer", so why is it okay for Gnome to remove the equivalent? [ No anger is directed at you. ]
