@ngo not unless you want to implement all of the functionality yourself. Why don't you want to use the plugin?

@pitaj I prefer to use the plugin. Just in case, if i need to make some function myself, it have better base on existing plugin.

How should I do for updating the max slide from 4 to 5?
Can I revise the plugin directly in .js?
Which file should I update?

@ngo it might be possible to just make the whole thing smaller for this, but I’m not sure as I’m not very good with HTML/JS

@ngo there is a settings page for the plugin in the ACP. You can adjust the slide counts there.

However, i think i need to modify the code would be better.
Because I have a question now, if I need 2 recent cards with different layout, for example, one in header (eg. Recent created) with 2 slides and font-style A, one in footer (eg. Most posts) with 3 slides and font-style B or other style.

@ngo I actually found you can change amount of posts in the plug-in settings. Go to ACP>plugins > recent cards and change the settings to how you like, then click save. Rebuild and restart after applying these settings.

@dunlix In my case, changed value to 3 or 5, after pressing the save settings and Rebuild and restart, the "Max slides to show for carousel" is reverted to 4 (refresh the page)...

@ngo hmm. Maybe this is a bug, you might be able to customize max slides with css.
