Thanks @yariplus , but I'm still having the same issue as before (i thought it was due to being a on 1.8.x) where I cannot add anything to the 'feature new topics' part, I can type into it, but I get nothing to select and pressing save doesn’t do anything other than saying 'saved' in the right hand corner.

Do you need me to open an issue on github?

This section is for entering category IDs like below.

This will make any future topics posted to these categories automatically featured.

You cannot feature an existing topic from this page. (most likely something I will add in the future)

To feature an existing topic right now, you have to go to the Topic Tools of that topic:

Seems to be working. Are you entering the category numbers comma separated like below? Any errors in the logs?

@yariplus I'm trying to create a "blogroll" widget, but it seems as though the only featured topic listed is "news" ?

Any ideas ? I've created the new featured topic list, but it doesn't appear. Neither does the default "blog" ?
