no, i tried but the chat window is bigger than the display and i can't write, i don't see the send button ecc..

Chat window fits fine on chrome on htc one.

There are some viewport issues on Windows Phone, I'm experiencing this as well.

on Windows Phone 8.0 I've never had problems even on complex sites

@manuel You're not understanding the issue. The problem isn't the modal, it's the viewport.

holy.... i never realised until now but there is chat on mobile devices too. on both the iphone 4S and the nexus 7 when displayed in vertical mode there is no chat icon, even when clicking on the collapse button. They do appear in landscape mode on the nexus 7, but not on the iphone 4S. I think the chat should be displayed all the time, maybe move it to the left with the other icons?

Yes, that would be best -- we can add the chat icon to the menu on portrait view on mobile devices. It is just hidden at current.
