Forum Indexing by Google and Bing

Hi!

I'm working on this site using nodebb. Is indexing of the forum by Google and Bing is in the process as per the procedure? I find lots of tags getting indexed. Is this good or bad in terms of SEO? I've uploaded a sitemap to Google and Bing. I suppose I'm using the default robots file. Should I make any changes?

Any help would be appreciated in developing my site.

That should be all you have to do. That's all I have ever done and google easily indexed all of my site fairly quickly. In terms of SEO, NodeBB is fairly well-optimized already.

Nope it "just works". We get crawled constantly due to our activity levels. We find that new posts are on Google in a few minutes, maybe half an hour at most.
