Group cover image doesn't change

I've been playing around with nodebb v1.0.0 and can't seem to change the group cover image.
I can upload it and move it and everything, but as soon as I leave the page it's gone, but it is uploaded to public/uploads/files as groupcover and groupcoverthump.

I am however able to change my user cover.

My log doesn't show any errors:

Anything I could do to troubleshoot this problem?

@ZerataX Which additional plugins do you have installed? I had a similar problem when I was using nodebb-plugin-amazons3

I think additionally I am only using:
nodebb-plugin-gravatar
nodebb-plugin-mentions
nodebb-plugin-dbsearch
nodebb-plugin-emailer-ssl-smtp
nodebb-plugin-embed-videos
I'll be trying to deactivate them one at a time.

Edit: Deactivating them all didn't help, so I tried to install the imgur plugin to see what would happen and everything works as expected I can still change my cover, but when I change the group cover even though it gets uploaded to imgur it doesn't save. On the next page change, it is back to the default cover image.
