[solved partially. Used an alternative plugin] [nodebb-plugin-featured-threads] Please fix. Currently incompatible due to lazy loader menu.

Update: I use nodebb-plugin-featured-topics-extended with porta theme [under the plugin's settings page]. I changed the homepage > news. then, then a news page shows up under extend > widgets. I have nodebb-plugin-custom-homepage installed, but I'm not sure if it's needed.
Now, I have a blogish looking front page with snippets of featured threads along with the author's name, author's avatar, number of comments, and number of views. Looks pretty goood

Can someone please fix this plugin? It sounds like a small UI change in nodebb made it incompatible. It sounds like a simple fix --- I hope. I am willing to pay up to $70 usd for the fix. A few users have been asking for this fix for months.
I think the most recent one this would be good for is 0.8.x, we since revamped our menu system to lazy load instead so that made this one incompatible. Ping me again if I haven't looked at this by end of next week

I was actually in and around that bit of code earlier today (Baris refactored it, so at the time I wasn't sure how much effort it would be). I think it's simple, but I'm simply swamped for the next week, sorry. I guess you can keep bugging me until I have the time?
EDIT: I would love if somebody would take this for the proposed $70. I'd like to see more developers making a market out of NBB plugins (even though you're all undercutting us :p)

I think I need some sort of service where people just ping me everyday and I get a notification on my phone saying: "Hey! Your plugin is out of date / broken geez!"

Can you tell me which file/files I need to edit to change the the masonry blocks into horizontal bars?
I'm currently using the 4x1 option with the custom homepage widget they show up as little almost-square tiles. http://i.imgur.com/gZNyedL.jpg

Use the new List widget I added if it gets merged.
