Help with how to cancel user invitation

First of all, thank you for everyone involved in developing NodeBB. I've only found out about it recently and I'm so far very impressed with it.

Now I'm having a problem: I need to remove some invitations from the invitation queue as these specific users are not going to join my instance of NodeBB and they requested me not to store their emails. Is there a way that I can cancel a specific (or all) sent invitations? I can't find a way to do that through the interface but I need to cancel some invitations even if through the database itself. Is there a way?

I found no solution through the user interface so I just deleted the invitation object in the database.
