Different appearance across browser platforms

I noticed that my site looks different based on the browser it is being viewed in. In chrome everything looks fantastic as expected.
Firefox looks fine too except the side bar reverts to the bottom like it does on mobile.
But on IE, it looks like total crap. Side bar doesnt even load, categories are all wacked out even the thread and post ticker on the categories are screwed up and in the middle of the display picture.
Any ideas to fix this?

@RazorAxis is it just your site, or does this site behave the same way? What theme are you on? What version of NodeBB?

@RazorAxis the only thing I can think of is that some CSS style aren't being recognized by Firefox and IE for whatever theme you're using. I wouldn't expect this to happen though, since we're using bootstrap.
