The Windows 10 Opinions Topic...
-
My only reaction to Windows 10 is http://nooooooooooooooo.com/

I have Windows related site so I tested and review Windows 10 regularly since it's first preview release
Overall I like it..I think it's a major improvement of Windows 8.x.And about your caps lock & num lock problem, it's usually caused by incompatibility driver which mostly happen in pre-release OS
I like the come back of start menu and virtual desktop, however I think the cortana integration to desktop OS is something useless

I havn't add the opportunity to play with it, but I am looking forward to it. A lot of people like Windows 7 over Windows 8, but I prefer Windows 8 over Windows 7 and I don't even have a touch screen. I am actually glad there isn't a "Start Menu". I find myself always getting lost or spending more time looking for "Applications". I just click the "Windows" thing on my keyboard and start typing the name of the application or feature.
ex: Filez (brings up FileZilla)
ex; Control Panelmuch faster then clicking the start menu and searching for those things.
Wasn't Mod4+write+Enter possible since Win XP?
Ever tried Linux - and I don't mean Ubuntu, it doesn't fulfill most of the main reasons for GNU/Linux anymore.Anyway, I prefer the start-menu over the touchscreen-oriented screen.

I also like the fact that Windows X (Official Name, not actually 10) APP Store is going be shared with Win Phone market. So all apps/programs do not need 2 seperate versions.
I hate the concept of being a hybrid OS for PCs and mobile devices... So this is a negative point in my opinion.

@Sim I've heard that the windows app store is full of crappy malware apps that masquerade as real applications.
Isn't this an exact description of Windows itself? xD
All in all my opinion of Windows X is the same as of any other Windows version: Windows = Solitaire
Sorry guys, had to contribute to this topic
EDIT: PS: (just replace 7 with X and Snow Leopard with anything else, I don't care)

@frissdiegurke As a developer, I love the fact it's going to be hybrid. It is easier to develop on more devices.
