Subcategories

Hi dove,
Subcategories are one extra level of organization that we may consider adding in the future, as many other forums have similar groupings.
RIght now, you can assign certain colours to certain categories, and the next natural step would be to allow you to assign any colour (via hex code or colour grid) to a category. The step after that might be to group together coloured categories.
Thanks for the suggestion

Thanks for reply.
Looking forward to custom colors. Also got one more question: are you planning to migrate to Bootstrap 3 ? I just updated my website fully to Bootstrap 3 and i plan to integrate this forum to my website so it would be nice to have same design in whole website Thanks

Hey again,
Sorry I missed you an hour ago! Yes, we were quite excited when we discovered that Bootstrap released RC1 of v3, since v2.3.2 had certain elements that were quite dated looking (case in point, the "reply" button with gradient and rounded corners is already a little tired, even though it was all the rage 1-2 years ago!).
As much as I'd like to say that migrating from 2.3.2 to 3RC1 would be a drop-in switch, there are certain portions that need to be rewritten, although from what I've read of the migration guide, it seems fairly straightforward.
One of our core devs is looking into migrating the codebase, and at present, we've contacted @thomashpark to ensure that Bootswatch is still compatible with v2.3.2 for the forseeable future.
