    In that case, there's not a bug here. To fix it you'd either have to modify the font size or get a larger screen.

    I have the same issue: if i press the smiley button in the editor, all smileys get displayed correctly. If I add one to the post though, they wont get displayed correctly: the url to the image is always the localhost url. my config.json: { "url": "http://localhost", "port": ["4567", "4568", "4569"], "secret": "cce14e14-b1f8-4e2d-b859-3885564a4e6e", "database": "redis", "redis": { "host": "127.0.0.1", "port": "6379", "password": "", "database": "0" } } my nginx config: (path and server_name changed) upstream io_nodes { ip_hash; server 127.0.0.1:4567; server 127.0.0.1:4568; server 127.0.0.1:4569; } server { listen 80; server_name nodebb.example.org; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header Host $http_host; proxy_set_header X-NginX-Proxy true; proxy_redirect off; # Socket.io Support proxy_http_version 1.1; proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade; proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade"; gzip on; gzip_min_length 1000; gzip_proxied off; gzip_types text/plain application/xml application/x-javascript text/css application/json; location @nodebb { proxy_pass http://io_nodes; } location ~ ^/(images|language|sounds|templates|uploads|vendor|src\/modules|nodebb\.min\.js|stylesheet\.css|admin\.css) { root /path/to/nodebb/public/; try_files $uri $uri/ @nodebb; } location / { proxy_pass http://io_nodes; } }

    Yes, I'm in Vagrant linux virtualbox. The installation issue could be solved by 'npm install --no-bin-links'

    In NodeBB, subcategories are referred to as child categories. In order to set up your subforum, you would create your necessary categories (one for mobile phones, and then others for android, ios, etc) and then set the parent category of your intended subforums to be your mobile phones category.

    @julian said: The idea is they're compatible, although I think at the moment, it only works with 0.4.x of Ghost... Thanks for your reply. I will try with ghost 0.4.x then. Thank you very much. UPDATE: I've just tested the plugin with version 0.4.2 of Ghost and all ran smoothly. The problem for me was the "Same Origin Policy" testing the plugin in my local instances of Ghost and Nodebb. I will now re-try the installation with the latest version of Ghost and let you now if i find any problem. Thanks again. UPDATE2: I've tested the plugin with version 0.5.8 of Ghost. I get an error related to the ghost API. Even logged in the api responds with 401 unauthorized. I think that is the step involved of publishing the post from ghost to nodebb (while fetching the blog entry content). Think this issue is already known by @psychobunny . Fun fact is that i can post comments en entries already published on nodebb and all works good.

    @julian said: LOL can you repro? Nope. Only happened once. tbh I nearly refreshed when it did it without print screening it. Might only do it when you have 1 post in the topic. It could also be my new fancy internets being too quick and showing me two topics at once like some mental multi tasking feature.

    There are two main reasons why this guide has been published. I have had to limit mobile bandwidth consumption on 3G connection and to get rid of Git and Ruby issues. Mixing them up with Windows command line is a bit quirky. Linux and other *nix users should skip it and go with your official guide. I have tested it on a local computer with Fedora 21 Server and it is really easy to reproduce. But on Windows it is not. And you do not need to change so many firewall settings for cmd.exe, ssh.exe and similar processes. Using web-based OpenShift tools is also much easier for beginners. We have prepared a new guide for users with rhc and git tools. https://github.com/ahwayakchih/openshift-nodebb I hope it can be used by those who only installed PHP forum scripts.

    @a_5mith Yes I totaly agree, I need to add something to comply with this as I'm in the UK (my bad), even tho I think it's stupid and may never get enforced. I can't afford the legal costs if it ever did and as a community/open source project I'm just informing the rest of the community who may or may not be aware of this, as I didn't find it mentioned before. Thanks Dave

    @pichalite Yer I think your right here, I've done a hack for now but knowing quite well that will get over written on the next upgrade. And even tho this would normally be a minor concern for normal links, links to a another app on the site really need to be in a seperate tab. So I've had to hack that as well, so I need to get my head around writting some plug-ins and how they all work, I want to fork this one [nodebb-plugin-outside] and see what I can do with it as I think this would serve my purpose but I don't think it's working at the moment. Do you know if anyone has had any luck with getting any of the debuggers working? I learn faster by seeing what's going on under the hood.

If a paste code code hit save and nothing, come out go back in and not saved? EDIT: Found and fixed bugs at my end will submit pull requests.

    @vatsal Hey vatsal, Have you made any progress of using any of the inspectors with nodebb? Just thought I'd check before going off on a wild goose chase! I'm having couple of small issues with a couple of plugins so would like to see what's going on under the hood, this will help me get a better understanding of the system faster and help me fix stuff! Thanks Dave

    @Dave-Huggy-Jones No idea buddy. I only make the occasional plugin. Not sure what the final plans are for groups. But I'm sure if enough people request something it will be implemented.
