Hi everyone
Currently, all of the pages on my forum have the same meta tags and descriptions, which is the site level tags that I have setup from ACP. Is there any way I can setup meta tags for individual categories and posts?

hey @julian thanks for your quick reply. I checked the sitemap for our forum, but it shown only the categories & topics headers. Is this how it's meant to be shown or am I missing something?

@Kosiak hmm looks like its not possible with nodebb! We will just have to spin a new instance and host it in a different URL

I have installed this plugin, https://github.com/psychobunny/nodebb-plugin-desktop-notifications#readme to enable desktop notifications, but I have noticed that clicking the notification doesn't take me to the topic.

If I have the forum open in a tab, then clicking the notification redirects to the topic on the same tab. Is this the intended behaviour?

@scottalanmiller yeah that's what I had in mind as well, although it would be operationally ineffective, no SSO, and users who share both languages would miss out on content in one forum.

Hey guys, this might have already been discussed. I am looking for a way to host users with different languages in the same forum, I realise that the template can be altered to support multiple languages, but when users start posting content, there will be different languages mixed in one homepage, recent articles, EDMs etc, which is not a good experience. Is there any way to tackle this?

@PitaJ Recent page shows the reverse chronological order of thread titles and the first post beside it. It doesn't let you comment / post directly on the recent page itself, doesn't expand the posts section if the user wishes to do so etc.

So the experience is, every post you wanna read and comment on, you have to open it in a new tab, and then go back to recent page and start from the post you were last looking at. It breaks the infinite scroll experience.

Is there any plugin which shows NodeBB posts in an infinte scroll? Like FB news feed?

Reason I ask is, many people these days are used to the infinite scroll experiences. FB, Instagram, Pinterest, Quora etc. Where as the community forums haven't really evolved from that inceptive experience of message boards of folder like structure, which kickstarted the internet communication. Anyone else feel the same way? Happy to discuss further and get people's opinions on this.

Hey everyone, I noticed that when users share a post using the FB / Google under the three dot menu, the post preview images & text are not being shown. Any idea why this is happening?

In the acp, I am able to view the visitors and pageviews according to the time period, via the graph on the dashboard.

However, I am not able to see such a breakdown for user signups, topics, and posts.
Can someone please point me in the right direction, to get this information?

Intended to be run on client side. Whenever nodebb is able to identify a user (at login), the above script needs to be called to set the user email or id to their usage data.

Hi, How can I track users in mixpanel and attribute the activity to their emails? Right now the mixpanel tracking is aggregated.

mixpanel gives the ability to identify users and tag them to their activity.

But I need to place this script to trigger after the user has logged in. How can I do that?

• Does the unique visitors count include unregistered users too?
• Where can I see the average session duration of the users on a day-by-day basis?
• Where can I see the breakdown of users who are logging in atleast once a day/week/month (DAU, WAU, MAU)
