IMO, featured posts should be at the top, and where you have the interstitial (where the featured posts currently are), you could put popular, or vice versa depending on best use case/data analysis.

I think the biggest changes are the new chat interface, replies to this post, and the zen mode for the composer.

It can be done.

It cannot be accomplished using CSS alone, you need to modify the templates to get the structure right, and you might require an additional plugin to get the post content (description).

Is there any plugin or solution available to seed the forum with test data for mockup purposes? Its usually a strain to have to copy and paste dummy topics and posts. - when I usually do, it takes up an hour or two.

Two years ago? I doubt it. On an older (much older) version of NodeBB it does.

So I've tested almost every possible solution (including using JS to solve the issue) without disrupting any other element but I strongly suggest rethinking the mobile UI overall to better suit any device so it doesn't break.

The problem (and a much bigger one than you think) with using dropdown/dropup menu's on mobile for this site is that it just doesn't work due to issues with different devices like yours for example, and then theres the language thing that could possible stretch the width of any individual dropdown-menu.

The solution?

Tell me what you think of this solution. I will implement it in Persona if approved.

@jarey Looks like it needs to be flipped from left to right instead of the default right to left.

By turning [component="thread/sort]" into a class and on an xs media query force it to go right. Anyone else has any other suggestions on how to go about this?

EDIT: Actually, this would not be a good idea, the best direction to go is to base the dropdown positions based on a horizontal offset (like the popovers). That's what it looks like to me.
