@a_5mith I haven't opened Gmail on the web or on my OnePlus One since I started using Inbox about a week ago. It's really hooked me on the whole inbox zero idea with the task-oriented design. I really like the snooze feature too, sometimes I forgot to address emails later on in Gmail.

What exactly do you mean? This is a very vague request.

@a_5mith I have had very good luck with Akismet on some Vanilla forums I run. Sometimes tools like Project Honeypot or StopForumSpam let new spammers through, while Akismet detects spam and hides it. I believe a combination of both is pretty powerful.

I do agree though that captchas just aren't good these days. I hate filling them out, and they're pretty ineffective against modern spammers.

@j3nkl3r What exactly is buggy for you? It would help if you submitted bug reports to improve NodeBB and reach that level of stability you're looking for.

Apple is really ahead of the curve with this new adaptive-bend technology.

I've run NodeBB on both DigitalOcean and Vultr, and Vultr is definitely faster.

I think Mongo has better failure recovery too, because everything is stored on the disk instead of in RAM.

@MatthewHawley Key thing to remember is that this is forum software, not a social network. A lot of admins forget this when they start forums, and it's sad.

Really, just having a category set aside for posting image threads should be good enough, coupled with the lightbox plugin that Julian linked to. You'll be encouraging discussion while keeping the site a forum and not a social network.

It would be nice to have image previews in the category view though.
