@Gaelan thanks for the explanation. I guess my expectation was for there to be some sort of UI in the front end of forges that you would input a repo url and it would `git clone` and `git push` for you. I really only started using git with not through some sort of gui or frontend like through a plugin in an IDE quite recently so my expectations were that you should be able to do everything inside of the forge websites.

@michal I am very aware of the current fep repository, been around this process since it started. having documentation that is formatted and presented in a clean and concise way is really important. Not all fedi developers are the same type of repo first developers. There are features in the FEPs that designers and front end people need to understand and also just people who are interested in the fediverse in general.
