Keeping in mind that this is a machine run test, you must take the results with a grain of salt. I'm looking at this from an seo perspective, I agree that Nodebb is "zippy" but if Google are going to be using this tool (or something similar) to rank Nodebb forums, then the results are highly relevant. What's the point in having a cool looking forum with no members or visitors? NodeBB is quite zippy on my phone It's also zippy on my iPhone & iPad and my daughters Android tablet and Windows phone.

@baris thanks again, your previous advice resolved the issue, I updated Nodebb which reverted to the previous version of WE (0.2.18), I'm going to leave it as it is, really don't like messing around with the back end stuff, I'm still a noob. many thanks appreciate your help Best, Lee

I set them up as the same credentials for both for testing and ease of use. In production you'd use different logins for putty and your forum. Your forum user will have admin credentials applied. @psychobunny is a real superstar, but the community as a whole (users/developers) is real good one. Which is why I personally would stay with NodeBB over say Discourse, which I would say would be NodeBB's only real competitor.
