Darn. I don't know if my laptop can handle this level. I'm dangerously close to the minimum system requirements to for this game! it needs at minimum 8mb of RAM (with 16 MB suggested), but this laptop my roommate fished out of the ewaste for me has a mere 16GB of RAM.
I wonder how hard it would be to set up a filter on my mastodon so I can only get replies from people who follow someone else.Like, only those that follow me? Easy. Pedestrian. But like "you can't talk to me unless you are also following user X"? Trickier
@qdot I missed out on a good job interview because they threw me at the same leetcode problem I'd done before BUT WITH A SMALL VARIATION that I didn't notice until it was too late to fix.Getting really tired of leetcode. In the real world I don't have a 45 minute time limit on every problem, I'm not in an hourly TV show
@Novyx I think I've seen them at ewaste? It's always annoying to find a big-ass KVM and then realize it needs funky cables and they're not with the machine
@cinebox I suspect it's because of recruiters: They're getting paid by how many people interview/get hired, and don't worry as much about how many of those people walk out and/or quit
@lucy scp will do what I want, the problem is that I'm not using scp right now, I'm using putty. having to launch scp or sftp or filezilla is the hard part, since I have to reauthenticate and everything
@Cloudscout I used one of those when I worked for the US government! Very neat, and I've always wanted one. I thought it'd be fun to design a game that's played on one
@Argonel @virtulis yeah I've more than once encountered situations where I've had to triple click frequently: but admittedly they're rare enough that the first example I can think of is a 90s edutainment game.
