Darn.Darn. I don't know if my laptop can handle this level. I'm dangerously close to the minimum system requirements to for this game!
it needs at minimum 8mb of RAM (with 16 MB suggested), but this laptop my roommate fished out of the ewaste for me has a mere 16GB of RAM.

I wonder how hard it would be to set up a filter on my mastodon so I can only get replies from people who follow someone else.I wonder how hard it would be to set up a filter on my mastodon so I can only get replies from people who follow someone else.
Like, only those that follow me? Easy. Pedestrian. But like "you can't talk to me unless you are also following user X"? Trickier

@qdot I missed out on a good job interview because they threw me at the same leetcode problem I'd done before BUT WITH A SMALL VARIATION that I didn't notice until it was too late to fix.@qdot I missed out on a good job interview because they threw me at the same leetcode problem I'd done before BUT WITH A SMALL VARIATION that I didn't notice until it was too late to fix.
Getting really tired of leetcode. In the real world I don't have a 45 minute time limit on every problem, I'm not in an hourly TV show

I found a bunch of ports for sale on aliexpress, and they handle the problem of "db15" in an interesting way@Novyx I think I've seen them at ewaste? It's always annoying to find a big-ass KVM and then realize it needs funky cables and they're not with the machine

They call the DE-15 connector (the vga one, often incorrectly called db-15, especially by me) a "db3row-male-15 " connector.

Fun fact: you know that then where you go back to programming language A after doing a lot of work in B, and accidently use B syntax in A?@mxk no I just spend too much time on wikitionary

Fun fact: you know that then where you go back to programming language A after doing a lot of work in B, and accidently use B syntax in A?So that "H" is still there in "ghost" because one German guy a half millenia ago tried to write Java using C++ syntax, probably because it was 1am and the candle was burning out

Fun fact: you know that then where you go back to programming language A after doing a lot of work in B, and accidently use B syntax in A?The word in middle English was "gost", but The Royal Book in 1484 (one of the earliest books printed in English) spelled it "ghoost" in the prologue.
The prologue was written by the German Wynkyn de Worde, who was thinking of Flemish (where the word was "gheest") and merged it with the English "gost", and then it shortened down to "ghost" when the spelling was standardized -

That's how the English language got the letter "H" in "Ghost".
