@onur-baran Don't blame NodeBB for this, Recent cards is an external plugin that I've had bugs with before.

Scrolling features could prob be done with JS, I have little knowledge.

Upgrades have always been complicated and botched, if only there was a GUI.

Not to mention this is a free, open-source, beta software. The community helps the community. appreciate what there is and the fact that people work for this and you pay nothing to use it. (to NodeBB)

Hello. I am aware of the browsing users plugin and have it installed. What I'm wondering is if there is a similar plugin that would be for the chat windows so you can see who's looking and typing, kinda like Snapchat. Does anyone know?

@ab No Problem. If you want it to look more like a dialogue box or message, maybe add a container to the widget

@ab If you used the widgets feature you drag a container from the right side of the screen onto the widget code and it'll paste for you

@esha Create a category in ACP > Manage > Categories. change it to how you would like it. Then, go to the category's priveledges.

Now, here is what the priveledges screen should look like. Modify it to how you would like it.

Here, global moderators can also access this category. Be sure to add the group that you want for this category and change the permissions as necessary. Spiders are the search engine, and whether or not they can see it too.

The only way someone would have access to this is if they can also see what you are typing- so basically if they are looking over your shoulder. I don’t think think it would be much of a problem unless you are hacked, in which case the hacker can just install a key logger to also see your password.

@gotwf This is an actual issue, it has just already been fixed. The only way to change group settings was manually in the database and then restarting forum.

Yeah @kurulumu-Net you can change port in config.json in one of the NodeBBs and change to the same port in the proxy-pass part of the corresponding nginx config.

Default port is 4567, one will need to be changed.

On the plugin page (your.site/admin/plugins/iframely), click where it says in purple box "Get API Key here." it brings you to a site, click Sign Up and Try (yellow box) fill in info and when logged in paste API key into box in Forum, no need to fill out anything else
but I think this is a free trial not sure
