Managed to install sharp on Redhat. Just followed the instruction very carefully and some github issues from libvips. https://sharp.pixelplumbing.com/install

npm i [email protected]. Then rebuild and restart nodebb.

You have to modify persona to go back to the old style. Then changes are in https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-theme-persona/pull/507/files.
