Written on back of photo: "Pasley C.P.O. Manor Place Corner Shop. Surviving because of milk round, it supplies the immediate area with milk. Popular with elderly people for whom it is the only facility within reasonable access. Part of Pasley C.P.O. -awating quit notice."
