It's happening! Royal Enfield has unveiled the new Classic 650 at EICMA.
Royal Enfield Classic 650: First Ride Review
Itβs designed for the Classic 350 purists seeking an upgrade and those lamenting the absence of the Classic 500.

@dHeinemann It looks strange to me, like the tank is at the wrong angle. Still rooting for a 650 Himy, but I doubt that will ever happen since the new engine is so close in power.

@kev Yeah, it feels all off to me too. More like the Super Meteor than the Classic 350. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest, but I knew this was coming when the recent leaks started trickling in.
The Bear 650 looks great though. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. At this stage, if I get a Royal Enfield, it'll be a Bear.

@kev @dHeinemann The 650cc Himmy is next year, I think we have another K platform bike to go.
I couldn't tell if the Bullet 650 is coming before the Himmy or after. Hold on to your butts!

@dHeinemann 3 bikes around the time of Eicma is a huge jump, I know the Bear was a few days prior, but that really added to the hype imho.

@Valheru Three new models in a month, bringing the total to... 14? (the Himalayan 411 seems discontinued, here at least).
Royal Enfield are killing it.

The Bear is definitely a looker!
But you need to stop looking now you've ordered! Or is that just me?

@thefathippy I'll never stop looking at bikes!
In fact, I'm starting to appreciate the Classic 650 more. The teal colourway really pops. Might just make up for everything else.
Alas, I won't be getting a Royal Enfield for the foreseeable future.
