What if Apple intelligence *doesn’t* drive the phone update cycle? What if OpenAI never makes a profit and has to go back for another giant funding round?

I also think this underestimates how common it is for companies to have "don't store this anywhere" policies because they don't want it to come up in a legal discovery. For example, Google tried this ahead of their antitrust trial and there are dozens of examples of "Whoops, we're going off the record now because...." messages in there.
Now imagine every person in your company has a helpful assistant reading and archiving everything. Business isn't going to like that.
