The Trump family crypto project “World Liberty Financial” launched with a more than two-hour-long Twitter Spaces stream last night. Trump appeared for the first 40 minutes of it, spending half his time recounting recent assassination attempts before speaking vaguely about crypto.

Despite the lengthy livestream, details about the project remain scarce. It appears to be some kind of borrowing and lending protocol like Aave, whose overcollateralized loans don’t do much to address the Trump family’s supposed concerns about inequitable access to credit.
