LET’S MAKE IT INTO A MUSIC

@wdlindsy I thought she was going to whip out a gun and shoot Trump in the face last night, and wouldn't blame her if she did, she was mortified at Trump's demented shenanigans.

@callisto Yes, as if we don't have eyes to see who and what he is!

@wdlindsy I've noticed similar here in rural GA. The number of openly displayed T3p signs has decreased quite a bit, sadly. Those signs -and unfortunately the American Flag - are the new indicator for 'bad neighborhood'.
I don't think they vote less for Shitler, but they know full well that showing this openly is not a good thing. That tells volumes about their character...

@wdlindsy Obviously, neither he nor anyone in his audience understands what that song is actually about.

@geonz Indeed.

And Biden was forced out for it and Trump has not been, even though he is much, much worse and his decline is far more obvious. It's pathetic that the GOP won't force him out and the media tries to normalize his decline.

@darwinwoodka @RonSupportsYou Absolutely. There's absolutely no equivalence in how the media have treated the two men. It's disgraceful.

@Burnt_Veggies I think that's a safe bet!

@PhoenixGee Exactly the same here, and I'm hearing others here in Arkansas say the same. They'll vote for him, but they've finally become ashamed, many of them, to advertise that fact.

@Tharpa A fourth assassination attempt! And I don't mean to make light of assassination attempts.

@RonSupportsYou I'm fairly sure well-informed people know all of this. I wonder why we're continuing to beat this dead horse now when Harris is the candidate and many of us immediately welcomed that transition and placed our support behind her. Surely it's better to stand together than to keep lecturing each other about who Biden is?

@hfinyow Yes, that sounds plausible to me.

@wdlindsy There are so many assassinations against Trump, it's getting boring now .. Hell, the first one was boring.

American culture truly could not beclown itself in the eyes of the world more effectively than it did with Trump bopping and swaying on stage for over half an hour last night, as a strange mix of songs played, while others on the stage including Ms Noem waved and swayed and gesticulated as if this was all somehow … normal.

“Credit where credit’s due: The Washington Post got one very right.
Marianne LeVine's recent article didn't just report on Donald Trump's latest campaign event—it unflinchingly showcased the sheer oddity of it. …
In contrast, other major outlets seemed hesitant to highlight the strangeness of the event."

"The Associated Press headlined their piece: 'Trump's Pennsylvania town hall turns into impromptu concert after medical incidents.' That framing makes it sound like a spontaneous but benign occurrence, glossing over the fact that a presidential candidate essentially abandoned a key campaign event.
The New York Times went further, describing Trump as 'a political candidate known for improvisational departures.'"

"This video is even more fun, because it catches a conversation just beforehand between Noem and Trump. 'Well sir, do you want to play your song and greet a few people, or do you want to … ?' He didn’t know which song she meant. 'Well, you had said you wanted to close with a specific song.' Her tone of voice was that of a preschool teacher trying to console a dementia patient.

“'Ave Maria! Nice and loud! Turn it up loud! We want a little action here! Turn it up louder!'
And then they just ended the town hall early, and proceeded to 39 full minutes of Trump doing his confused, lonely bopping, and his imaginary conducting, and his trademark 'jerking two cocks at once' dance. …
They made it into a music! Aaron Rupar has a full thread with clips of just about all the songs."
