@wdlindsy ... as if that's normal, ignoring his insitence that nobody was leaving, and that he was incoherent. Granted, they quoted other folks noting the bizarreness of it all.

"For 39 minutes, Trump swayed, bopped — sometimes stopping to speak — as he turned the event into almost a living-room listening session of his favorite songs from his self-curated rally playlist.
He played nine tracks. He danced. He shook hands with people onstage. He pointed to the crowd. … He was done answering questions for the night."

"Mr. Trump had his staff fire up his campaign playlist, standing on the stage for about half an hour and swaying to songs as his crowd slowly dwindled.
He bobbed his head through the Village People’s 'Y.M.C.A.,' his usual closing song."
~ Michael Gold

"He swayed soberly to Rufus Wainwright’s version of 'Hallelujah,' watched a Sinead O’Connor video, rocked along to Elvis, watched the crowd during 'Rich Men North of Richmond' and then, finally, left the stage to shake hands on his way out during one last song.
The impromptu D.J. session was a strange conclusion to a political event that had started on familiar turf."

@wdlindsy He couldn't handle Kristi Noem's cold, psychopassive aggression.

@wdlindsy damn, so close. He should have played Wainwright's "Going to a Town".

@wdlindsy Astounding that #Republicans are not seeking his removal from the ballot. He will not make it past 2026 without residential treatment. They will have to pay his caregivers A LOT.

@wdlindsy He lost his concentration and covered it up. His answer to inflation was bizarre and rote. He realized he was broadcasting his decompensation. He should not appear in public after sundown.

@wdlindsy The irony of him playing Rich Men North of Richmond to his audience.

@wdlindsy And no one asked him if he was okay. No one left the stage because they liked whatever that was. Someone who cared would get power of attorney and get him to a doctor.

Maya Boddie reports on the puzzled reaction of Fox News' Bryan Llenas to the "very strange Trump Town Hall. Noting that Trump abruptly stopped taking questions and started playing (and bobbing to) music), Llenas writes,
"For about an hour there was an impromptu concert. Idk. Goodnight."
When your own family finally sees that the drunk uncle at the Thanksgiving table is not merely drunk but deranged….

In the few clips of Trump's mental breakdown on stage last night in Pennsylvania that I watched I was focused on the dog shooting Kristi Noem. She could not hide her dismay at the team she joined it sure looked like to me.

"On Monday, Kamala Harris' campaign released a letter authorized by 250 healthcare professionals demanding that Trump release his medical information."
The letter states,
"With no recent disclosure of health information from Donald Trump, we are left to extrapolate from public appearance."

"And on that front, Trump is falling concerningly short of any standard of fitness for office and displaying alarming characteristics of declining acuity….
While many older adults are highly functional, age can also come with cognitive changes that affect our ability to function well in complex settings. We are seeing that from Trump, as he uses his rallies and appearances to ramble, meander, and crudely lash out at his many perceived grievances."

"Trump is unraveling in front of our eyes. Make sure everyone knows about this story. It is important—especially given that Biden was forced out of the race over a single debate performance."
