yeah, i really doubt this, though apparently they have some reasonably popular podcasts?

i think they kinda lost their credibility on software downloads after they started pushing out windows malware installers instead of the original software artifacts

sourceforge itself literally doing a software supply chain attack until they got in legal trouble for it

though i will say that anyone who would be downloading software from sourceforge in 2024 probably isn’t the ideal customer persona for anything i’m involved with
