@coffeegeek @coffee @espresso More to the point, I’ve got two questions:
1. On the J-Ultra, how accurate is it when moving between coffee types? As in, if I switch from espresso to aeropress and back again, will the espresso setting be the same? I’ll be trying this myself, but would like your input.
2. “35 sec. including 10 sec. pre-infusion”: is this 45 seconds total, or 35 seconds total? English is a terrible language.Thank you!

1 - extremely accurate. If you are going from espresso (1.15 on the clicks, or 115 in), to Chemex (somewhere around 3.4, or 340 clicks in) and go back to espresso, you will be within maybe 20um of your previous setting, very quickly
2. 35 second total shot time. first 10 seconds of that is preinfusion, then 25 sec full pressure run. I detail how we test espresso, here, if you're interested:
