I think it was exactly what it looked like. A hateful statement meant to signal a disregard for votes. It was “Don't you hate those people? That trash? You can say it! You can say that! See? Here I am at MSG saying it openly!”

Please don't pretend that they are trying to play the political game and not, you know, violently take over the country.
