More and more are running computers that have OS that are no longer being updated. Unfortunately some OS vendors are leaving some of us behind. There is an option, however. Install Linux! When you have done that, feel free to install Vivaldi as well!
-
@jon Unfortunately many of us need to use software that will not run under linux. For me it Claris #Filemaker.

@jon Done!

@jon And I didn't just install Vivaldi, I installed it 3 times.
-
@jon done - since years. It work's very well
-
@jon Running Linux with Vivaldi on many computers.
-
@jon Which distribution are you using at Vivaldi?
Personally I have a great time with Fedora Workstation. I will never go back to Windows again... especially not since Windows 11 doesn't like the "TPM" chip on this neat little refurbished hp EliteDesk PC which is purring on my desk... -
If you are asking me personally, I have been playing with Manjaro Cinnamon and Ubuntu. I am still on Windows as well, though.
At work people use all kinds of distributions. We have no rule there and we like being able to test a lot of different setups.

I decided that @lachralle was right, so I installed a few more. Though I had to move the Gnome Dock to the bottom and shrink the icon size to fit them all in.
-
Who doesn't want [counts logos on the dock]… 39 simultaneous installs of Vivaldi?

@jon Very good idea indeed! New Linux user may try many distros with a "live cd/usb key" without installing Linux or try Linux distros there:
Test Linux distros online - DistroSea
Test out popular Linux distributions online for free on your web browser. No installation or live boot needed.
DistroSea (distrosea.com)
First software to install in their new Linux after the installation: Vivaldi browser!
