Setting my automatic post deletion from a year to 6 months.
Feel like I could set it to a week and nothing would seem to be missing.

@troublewithwords I think I have mine set to that or maybe 2 mo??
But yeah, a platform like this really better lends itself to ephemera. Better to lean into it, than just have years of detritus that is mostly time-contextual. Anything of "permanence" belongs on another platform (personal blog, YT, etc).

@octothorpe I think it's a lingering part of my Twitter brain.
They keep things forever For Reasons. Those reasons don't exist here.
I already think its suspicious when someone boosts or likes a post more than a few days old.
In other words, yeah.
