Coming back to your comment: why not just use the rust library from within godot? Rust support was pretty good in 3.x but I haven't played with it since 4.x to be honest...

@blackcoffeerider Veilid is a networking framework (or rather "distributed application framework") you can use to build secure internet communication into your app. It's basically offering a simpler way to facilitate Tor-like networking with IPFS-like data management in a lower latency fashion.
