The fact that we should have more communication and organizational tools than ever and yet exactly none of them facilitate the union organizing context of dispersed gigworkers is such a massive indictment of the health of our digital ecosystems. Technology to oppress and extract, none for labor power. -
@[email protected] @[email protected] we should also probably just remember that labor organizing is a bottom up thing, so when Trump defangs or outright shuts down the NLRB people should not just disband their union and give up. All that means is they did away with the pretence that they cared.
