What the NYT is choosing to platform – and thereby present to their readers as a position that deserves serious consideration - is propaganda: No discernible insight or analysis. Just openly, aggressively partisan slandering, complete with some proper factual disinformation. 2/

It’s very much par for the course for Lowry and the anti-anti-Trumpers at National Review. What they offer isn’t analysis. It is sophistry in defense of the premise that the actual threat isn’t Trump, it’s the Libs, and the Libs only. 3/

Exactly. What AG Sulzberger is doing, masquerading as balance and centrism, is platforming the most partisan hard right propaganda, and in this case hiding behind the skirts of the editorial page as they did with the infamous Tom Cotton editorial.
