i think if i google this, i will find political slop and misinformation
i just want to be comforting for someone close to me​​
it hurts me to see my trans friends sad, but i only know about transfem dysphoria, so im not sure what to do!

Tell 'em. "didn't recognize you, thought you were some random guy", "damn you look like a guy", etc. etc.

It's those causal remarks that make trans people's month.
