(No, I am not in my 50's. I just choose Jan 1, 1970 as my date of birth to make people think a field got zeroed out.)

@riley UNIX timestamps are standardized to UTC unless your system is doing something fucky

@soatok But all documentation about birth is usually issued as per local timezone. The only real exceptions that I can think of would be for people born in Antarctica, or possibly aboard a plane flying rapidly across multiple timezones.
