@chris @hanse_mina of course, that's part of the narrative. the second world war narrative isn't really untrue so much as it is missing huge amounts of information about who these people were so they can be more simply labelled "hero" or "coward". the reality is, none of them were good people. Churchill had the blood of a million Indians on his hands.
