I finished another #webdev side project and built the QR code generator of my dreams: :fietkau_software: https://fietkau.software/qr

@nycbeardo Of course it is, just scroll down. I haven't tried to get it to run outside of the browser though. It needs solid SVG and canvas support at least.
You could probably take the open source code and turn it into a website that renders a QR code according to some query parameters. Bit of a web dev adventure.

@logwyrm Thanks likewise for the compliment! I'm no designer, but I like a bit of visual polish.

@julian I was all the time googling when I need a QR generator just to see you need to register and other shit, some few work well tho. I checked yours, bookmarked it and happy to use it. Thanks for the work!

@julian Oh yeah, this is great !
I didn’t know we could be so creative on the QR codes ^^
-
@tobi Yeah, most of them are pretty terrible. Just in case you ever need a backup, my go-to until now was https://www.qrcode-monkey.com. It makes you wait for the download to show you an ad, but apart from that it's fine.

@r3vlibre Yeah, as long as the contrast is good enough for the scanner and it can reliably find every pixel, we can have a bit of fun with it. Mind you that color choices (especially bright colors) or unlucky logo cutouts can ruin it, so always test before you print.

Thank you, great project.
