One of my most deeply nerdy interests is the Dragonlance series of novels. I've been reading them on-and-off for most of my life. There are 190 some-odd novels.
Right before the pandemic, I picked them up again and during it accelerated. I much prefer reading ebooks but the availability of the novels in ebook is a total messy patchwork. You can't even get all the core 26 novels in paper nor ebook (in
at least). Some are only available in audio book.

A few of the paperback novels are now going for over $100 used and yet they are still producing new books which (somewhat) depends on their content.
Anyway, after years of looking for some of these books, I've now found them locally. I'm driving an hour each way to pickup 29 book in the series on Saturday.
I have to wonder what sort of mess WoC has on their hands that got themselves into this situation.
