Ahaha I was at a food cart and some new Portland resident was being salty, telling her friend ‘can you believe people in SF ask me if I miss the food there?!’

@skinnylatte I would have to agree with you about food in SF in general. About the only things I really miss from living in SF are Mission burritos and pupusas. We also lived near a couple of great places for arepas and Yucatecan food, but they unfortunately didn’t last long.

@StanWonn there are a ton of great Yucatán and Salvadoran spots in sf now (new ones keep opening!) and that’s essentially mostly what I eat when I do eat out there.
I like the Chinese, Indian, other immigrant foods too but other than a handful of spots in the city (1-5 good ones each), it’s much more fun in the east and South Bay for those cuisines too.
