@chris Did you tow that with your Kona? If so, who put the hits on for you? Our Hyundai dealer won’t do it.
-
@Stevecoutts yessir. Local exhaust/custom shop. Super straight forward, standard hitch for a Gas Kona, though I wired the lights controller myself.
-
@Stevecoutts If you're interested, I'm a nerd and blogged it of course:

@chris Thanks!!
-
@Stevecoutts no problem. It's SO HANDY
-
@chris Oh, I know. We have a great Sterling utility trailer, which we used with the CRV. Now I’m reduced to borrowing trucks to tow it. I don’t like being a mooch and I don’t like burning gas.
I wish some manufacturer would come up with a 2009 style Ford Ranger with 200km of range and decent towing capacity for ~$40k.
-
@Stevecoutts yes!
-
@chris washed or unwashed sand? That's usually why the price diff.
-
@martin_fff unwashed I believe. “mound sand”
-
@chris careful, may just be *very* salty beach sand.
-
@martin_fff no, confirmed with them it's for planting.
-
@mrblissett good point! I haven't tried to drive a stick-shift (I started on an old Maxda GLC!) since my sciatic has been grumpy! Probably not a good idea
