A full listing of US products that will be subject to countervailing tariffs. If patriotism isnโt sufficient incentive to buy Canadian, economics may be. There is no doubt these reprisal tariffs will hurt Canadian consumers. But Trumpโs unprovoked economic attack requires some kind of response. And I think Canadians are grimly determined. @Paulatics That is very detailed. Without a careful differential to see any exceptions, it looks like the Feb 4 tariffs include all Made in USA

lumber & wood building materials, sand,
packaging, paper goods,
jewellery, precious metals, & diamonds,

@Paulatics We'll give up a whole lot more than OJ & vino. Gladly! You were on a federal transportation cmtte, yes? How quickly could Canada start adding rail capacity -freight & passenger? Could a federal gov't at least begin within 3 years?
