So here's an "artifact"
In 2014, there was a mean-spirited Twitter account named "Tumblr dot txt". It was supposed to be a repository of quotes of "Tumblr gone too far", in other words, "social justice gone too far". But clearly the Tumblr.TXT curator just didn't like social justice, or gay people, or people over 200lbs, at all.
So I made a reverse "tumblr.txt.txt" account, screenshotting the really fucking good posts Tumblr.txt posted
This account now has an archive:

There are 71 posts on this page and to me they're fascinating in so many ways, one being that these are from *early* 2014, before "gamergate" had revved up fully. This is just huffing raw the most thought-provoking stuff the Tumblr kids were cooking up then, before the world switched fulltime to reacting to the rising fascist tide that became Trump.
In their original form, this account had the following post as a background image, because it felt like a kind of thesis statement for the project:
