@stefan It sure takes a bit of hunting to find out if this is legitimate or not. It'd help if the Masto bios of their staff had a verified link to joinmastodon.org , and when they made official announcements they linked to pages on joinmastodon.org.

will the role protect those who speak the truth of what is happening in Palestine?
or will the role side with those who run mastodon social for example, who take down posts and reduce the visibility of anti-genocide accounts?

@rzeta0 Well I can't comment on the decisions of Mastodon's team or moderators, but I'm hoping things will improve as the result of this new role.

@rq Yes, big fan of the project!
I'm sticking with Mastodon for now, really don't have the time for a big server migration, but I'm keeping an eye on what they're up to, even recommend them when I have a chance!
