I have this idea that requires shaping a large-ish (let’s say 40x30x5cm, but not sure yet) piece of solid wood. Maybe also planing it first.
I think this could be done with either a CNC machine or manually with a router table. Neither of which I have access to and also no practical experience with (but I do know some basic woodworking).
How could I go about this in Berlin?
I can probably put the design together in KiCad.
Alternatively i think I could make the same shape out of layers of laser cut plywood panels. This would probably be easier but also look and feel much worse. And routing the edges is still needed I think.

Wait, KiCad is the one for electronics. What was the open source CAD tool for shapes? I forgot.
